LIFE IS THEATRE AND THEATRE IS LIFE 

I started making ceramic theatre masks years ago as a result of my fascination with the theatre and because I see masks in a sense as a commentary on life and the human condition. Life is theatre and theatre is life! Being creative is a way of life for me and by working with clay I experience a sense of fulfilment when I express myself in this organic medium.  I have expanded my creations to include ceramic heads and sculptures and, as I have a passion to  express feelings, moods and facial expressions, I tried to capture some of these emotions in my work. My passion for music and the Cinema Nouveau, has always inspired me and provided me with new themes and topics for my work.Working with clay is my life, my world.
