It was great to be at the festival. On many different levels. I can’t wait for the next one.

Just a few words of Thanks and Appreciation for yet another Great Preformance. Crouse Art KZN is proud to be associated with this Annual event. You can be proud of an excellent Festival. Considering the Economic climate the Festival seemed very well attended. You guys put together an awesome event the School is the most amazing venue and we enjoy coming up every year... we have such a great time and the Festival attracts a great crowd. Although we never did a huge turn over, we believe that this is a great advert for us and the association with this festival is great for our Gallery.

You both go out of your way to accomadate everyone in so many ways, I would like to just let you know, We really appreciate being a part of this event. Looking forward to next Year.

Jeff and I would like to thank you both very much for inviting us to play in the Marquee this year. It is a stunning venue for us and is a fantastic showcase for our music.

I absolutely loved the whole “vibe” this year and Steve and I watched a few shows which were superb – so thank you for all your tireless efforts on our behalf. I can only imagine how much works goes into the production of such a huge event.

Kudos to the sound guys from Black Coffee who did a great job and thanks to everyone who helped “backstage”.

Danny Myburgh: The Ridge School

I don’t even know where to start - we had the most amazing tour. The shows you picked for us were fantastic and hit the sweet spot (maybe not Cockroach). And the workshops were a huge success. Thank you for all your hard work.

I am going to request that we come again next year.

I would just like to thank you very much indeed for the oportunity to exhibit my work at this years festival, and thank you indeed for all your hard work!

It seemed to be very busy this year and we enjoyed such wonderful weather.

I had a very successful exhibition and the three of us were very happy with everything and the exhibition space worked very well for us.

I would also like to make an early application for next year and would be very happy to be up stairs in the library again, if at all possible.

Liberty Bell: Funda Nenja

We would like to thank you very much for allowing the Funda Nenja Dog Training Initiative to erect a display at the recent Festival. We had a constant stream of interested people looking at our display, which really helped to spread awareness of the work that we do at Mpophomene helping the local children learn about the care and training of their dogs. There were also a number of new members enrolled and we made a goodly amount in donations, so the whole event was a great success for us, and we really would like to do it again at next year’s Festival!

We are very grateful to Doreen Stanley and Sue Clarence who were most helpful in getting us organised with a spot, despite the fact that we only approached them at the last minute.

The opportunity for the cast to perform My Afrikan Dream to different audiences and their development as performers is what matters to me and that’s what they took away with them from the festival. They had a lot of fun doing it too.

I’ve had nothing but positive feedback about both performances at the festival. People have been phoning to order dvds of the show and the cast absolutely loved the Saturday performance!

Thank you again for what you do for us as a school every year. It’s a highlight for the boys and girls involved.

First of all, congratulations on a marvellous festival. Everything went so smoothly and everyone I spoke to raved about the whole thing. Your organisation was superb , everything ran like clockwork, and I would like to congratulate your whole team. A special thanks to Gary for helping me with the technology for my talks.

Thank you very much for allowing me to be part of the festival with my two talks- the Terracotta Army and Adonis and Bignose in China. I thoroughly enjoyed giving them and I think the audiences, from their reactions, also thoroughly enjoyed listening to them

Congratulations on organizing a wonderful festival.

Fortunately for us we were able to attend as it did not fall on a Jewish Holiday.

In our party there were 11 of us. 4 of them had never been and 2 had spent a day at the festival previously.

They were thoroughly entertained and all said that I have to include them again.

Well done to all those who made the festival a success that it was, namely, artists, actors, food vendors, helpers etc etc

What a magnificent weekend. We had 2 good trading days and I just wanted to thank you for allowing Freddo to be part of the show this year. My intention was to get to your offices and thank you personally but we were constantly busy on the van and never had a chance to get to you.
